I had a great experience working with Images on the Rise, the Director is really caring, sincere and attentive. She goes above and beyond for individuals entering the program and really wants the best for them. See wants to see individuals reach their full potential and she provides many opportunities to help them do so.

I was a Resident in the housing program that was managed by the Director and I was grateful and very much impression by her hands on involvement at her age of 66 years old. She was very kind but no non sense and was on top of everything and was there for everybody, women and children.

She was not paid to manager the house but she would in turn take her income from the childcare and subsidy the women’s rent so they could afford to live in the program. I know at least 60% of my rent was subsidized and it allowed me to have some money in my pocket for myself and my child, when I was only receiving a small amount from welfare. It was not enough to live off in the first, but with the help of the program I was able to pay a small portion of the rent and the Director paid the biggest portion from her childcare income, even after providing the childcare.

The program was so unique to the women granted with the opportunity they could not understand why a person would do such a thing and could not unfortunately appreciate the kindness bestowed up on them. While the program proved to be successful on one hand the stress and personal attacks were overwhelming and the Director had a heart attack on September 9, 2016. But she has not stop and is going on to help expand the program, because she realize the need is great and many are suffering while sleeping in cars, tents, abandon houses or on someone’s couch. And I was so blessed to have experience such kindness and was move by her determination and wanting to continue to serve this community where some showed no appreciation for her help and wanted to destroy her. I could only pray for that kind of forgiveness and strength, may she be blessed and have a speedy recovery. I think she should not take on such a task, but I’m grateful I was one of the people to have experienced the opportunity

This Wonderful Woman who lives in the House is the cofounder of the organization that started back in 1992. She has donated a million and a half dollars of her own money to support the program for the last 24 years.
I was a Resident back in 1996, Court Ordered to do 18 months in the program, due to me following the program guidelines and receiving good progress reports, the courts modified my 18 month order to 8 months. I stayed on for two years volunteering, helping with the program, because I believed what the purpose and in the commitment of Images on The Rise. The strong dedication of the Co- Founder
With the help of the program I soon got my own place, but I would stay in the program during the week to help and be of support to the new residents, i would go home on the weekend, untll, they put me out (lol) to make room for a new resident, which I was more then happy to do knowing from experience what it feels like to be homeless.
To this day in am still a great supporter and I still believe that without this program I would not be where I am at today Twenty Years Clean and Sober and an awesome productive member of society.
This is called determination with a purpose to fulfill a mission that her and her mother (aka) , Madea was called to do. Since Made a has passed on in 2003, the Director continues to move forward with the mission in honor of her love for her mother. It's hard to understand something that was not your vision, but what a great vision to have helping others.
I hope and pray that through her continuous effort many will be housed and helped.
"Give one a fish, one eats for a day, Teach one how to fish and one eats forever"
This is what Images On The Rise has done for me. And for that I am truly grateful.

Images on The Rise is a "non profit" business which houses homeless women/men and their children. This organization has NOT been registered with the state of California for over 10 years and is operating illegally. The woman "running" the business is doing so for PROFIT. She depends on the parents to pay her rent, as she lives inside of the house with the homeless families, and has NO source of income! There is NO real office location and the business is nothing but a SCAM.
