Mission: The mission of the foundation for jewish day schools of greater philadelphia is to conduct and support a program that provides needs-based scholarship assistance to students in jewish day schools and pre-schools in philadelphia, bucks, chester, delaware and montgomery counties in accordance with the commonwealth of pennsylvania's educational improvement tax credit program.
Programs: The foundation awarded $2,144,265 in needs-based scholarships to 490 day school students from low- and moderate-income households who qualified for the education improvement tax credit program of the commonwealth of pennsylvania.
the foundation awarded $418,960 in needs-based scholarships to 190 pre-school students from low- and moderate-income households who attend pre-schools that foster jewish identity in the greater philadelphia area and who qualified for the pre-k educational improvement tax credit program of the commonwealth of pennsylvania.
