I love volunteering with CASL and working with the senior citizens there. They are so welcoming, as are all the staff. I started out volunteering a day or two a week, but now am there sometimes 3-4 times a week. It's been such a great experience.

CASL is a great place in Chinatown Chicago. It's a place to learn the unique culture of Chinatown and gain unique experience on many aspects. The volunteer program has done tremendous good deed to the community and provided education to the neighborhood.

Our group had a wonderful time volunteering at CASL for the day. We learned how to draw bamboo and assisted with the ESL classes. It was a wonderful experience for our group of 16 college students. We will definitely be volunteering with CASL in the future.

I am a Chicago Public School high school teacher, and I brought 20 of my 12th grade advisees to CASL to work with the attendees of the senior center this spring. We had a great time making crafts, signing songs, and playing games for the morning. I have taken my students to CASL for six years, and every time we go my students rave about how much fun they had. Furthermore, my students are always inspired by the CASL staff and the work they do for the Chinatown community members.
